First really comprehensive review I have found, of the soon to be released, officially licensed Smith & Wesson M29 Co2 BB Revolver from Umarex.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pY_Hr5MQaA

Gets a very positive review from the Airgun Detective.

Shot steel BB's @ average of 476 FPS & 5.25 gr. H+N 5.25 gr. pellets @ 498 FPS & RWD Diablo Basic 7.0 gr. pellets @ 435. So very good velocity for a CO2 revolver.

Also has nice accuracy @ 30 ft.

Should be in Canada by around Sept.

I was a bit hesitant about buying it, when I first saw it. As I already have a number of other similar double action CO2 revolvers, like the shell loading Colt Python copy, the Swiss Arms 357 & the shell loading Crosman SNR, as well as the pellet shooting Crosman 38T & 38C, both in .22 cal.

But after watching the video, I'm way more interested in buying it.

BTW, anyone know the background of this reviewer, AGD? Was he a former police officer? Seems to have a very nice home, some where in Florida or California or Arizona.

Hi how are you .
I purchased one a week ago and it's full on quality and has special features. It has the true glow tip on the front sight it helps.
Also it has a true electro magnetic static bluing ...
As for the model , well I shoot fast so I'm always looking to find the fastest trigger on a revolver CO2 6 or 8 shooter ... so far I guess this one is somewhat fast but not quick enough so the search goes on ...
But you should include this one in your collection. When I pick it up , I feel like Dirty Harry .

It is said that the actual 4.5inch inner barrel in m29 is 5.5inch only. I suppose replacing the original one with “real” 8.125inch rifled barrel should increase the accuracy. There is no pellet version of it in Canada right?

Apparently they did use an 8 3/8" M29 in some of the filming, when they wanted the barrel to look especially long & menacing. Most of it was with a 6 1/2", the standard up until about 1980?
when the model 29-2 came out with 6" instead of the earlier 6 1/2" bl.
