Wondering if anyone knows of any difference between the Daisy 2840 and the Daisy 840C Grizzly besides the 30 FPS difference. The 2840 is 350 FPS and the 840C is 320 FPS. They are both available in Canada. Canadian Tire actually has a special on the 840C this week.

There seem to be a few physical differences between the two models.

The 840c mentions mossy oak which is a trademarked pattern and the 2840 only mentions camo.
The shape of the receiver around the trigger and the front sight seems different between the two models. Ramp and blade on the 2840 Vs. fibre optic on the 840c
The forearm is longer on the 2840 and covers the pump arm pivot point.
The 840c has a rounder receiver vs the 2840 more square receiver.

In Toronto, CT shows reg price $110 for the Grizzly 840. I bought one July 2 on sale $76 BUT it is the 2840 now and holds 50 bbs . The 840C Grizzly holds 350 according to manuals. Pellet loading ramp on 2840 feels more friendly but still tedious . With pellets or BBs very accurate one pump rifle for short range accuracy as well as good build quality.

The 2840 is on sale now $76.99 -CT website still calls it the 840 Grizzly. Excellent choice for new and young shooters for short distance target practice.

Thanks for the replies. I did go to Canadian Tire today and pick one up. TenRing was correct. It is the Model 2840 and not the 840C which is ok as it is 350 FPS as opposed to 320 FPS. Wife says I am going into my second childhood buying BB guns. LOL
