if your co2 pistol fully leaks when locking up can you still use the same seal and just add a drop of pelgun oil on it and still shot the co2 pistol.

What pistol are you having problems with? Is it leaking down the barrel or at the powerlet neck? Sometimes proper lube will help a seal swell and function for a while longer. Other times the seal is dried out, cracked or damaged and can't be "fixed" with lube.

You could try removing the seal from the Cr357, clean it, wipe with PellgunOil and re-install. Also clean the screen and piercer pin and under it. If it still leaks then maybe the seal hardened up or is slightly deformed. Try a new one if it still leaks. I'm not familiar with the Acro-1.

The acro-1 uses a co2 cartridge seal that is basically a little ring inserted around the piercing pin. When I was a kid I fixed mine using a short piece of slingshot rubber tubing. It worked ok. But now that I know better, I would try to pick out the old seal and use a small thick oring. It should work. Not sure the size off the top of my head, maybe 5/16" od and as heavy as you can find.
Just an idea.

I have a Crosman .177 Model 38c. It has not been used for many years. I suspect the seal at neck of cylinder has dried out as CO 2 cylinder drains out as soon as you try to install it. Can oil lubricant solve this or must seal be replaced? Is there anyone in Vancouver that can do this?
