Below is information recently sent out by Zach regarding the upcoming match:
The first match at Port is coming soon on Aug 21st. First things first, we need volunteers to:
1. to set the course in the morning and Aug 21st
2. prep the course on Aug 20th, see below for details
Match Details
It’ll be a full 60 shot match with twenty lanes so three targets per lane.
If your able to set up one or more lanes please email me (
zach_harde@hotmail.com) so I can make a lane set up schedule.
Setup will start at 8am
Sight in at 9-930am
Match Start 10-10:30am
Course Prep
Before we can start though we are going to have a clean up day on the Friday 20th to do the following things:
Mulch Crew
Equipment: shovels, rakes, and additional wheel barrels (PCDCC has one).
Crew: 2 – wheel barrel runners
1 – Person raking
1 – Person loading the wheel barrels
Weed whacking
Equipment: 1 or 2 weed whackers
Crew: 1 person weed whacking starting at lane 10
1 person weed whacking starting at lane 1
This can be done by one person if you are short on volunteers.
Tree Trimming
Crew: 1 person running a chainsaw
1 person clearing the cut wood from the lane and safety person
Equipment: chainsaw, safety equipment, etc.
