I received my order the one time I ordered from them. But I have heard of it being almost a 50/50 split amongst customers.

Something to remember is that Hero Outdoors is a drop shipper.
Some items are listed as in stock but that only means that they are able to procure it from another company on your behalf... Which adds to wait times and canceled orders.

I would recommend caution. Both my friend and I placed orders within days of each other. His order arrived with no issue (he was happy). Months later I received 85% of my order. I consider myself lucky and have abandoned all hope of ever seeing the other 15%.

I've placed a few orders with them and got about 80% of them, they would not talk to me about the missing ones. I would not use them again.

I ordered 2 Umarex mags from them, half the price of the next dealer, took 2 months to get but they arrived. I think they take a lot of orders, in which us the buyers assume are in stock but are not.

Well I have to say I received the complete order today. 6+weeks but one item was nowhere else to be found and was in the order. Perhaps I will use them again when not in any rush.

I ordered some bear bangers from them, about 4 months ago. Order was fulfilled without fuss, and arrived on-time.

I ordered early January, a M1A2 grenade adapter projector, it showed in stock and I received it within 14 day's. Worked for me... :?

I ordered something from Hero that was In Stock on their website. I heard nothing for over 3 weeks so attenpted to email then facebook and then call them. They would not reply. I contacted my credit card company and reported it as fraud. Only after that did they respond. Then, after an even linger time I finally got a refund.

I stay away now. No idea what the deal is. My best guess is they only order from supplier when I placed my order.

The above order was shipped Mar 29

Another order which was small with shipping was refunded. They did not honour a small purchase due to shipping cost I believe.
