 Post subject: .22 casings

does anyone know if i can buy .22 lr casings with primer in them but no lead and no powder? if so where? i just made a bunch of wax bullets after taking apart some .22 shells also tried fireing a pellet with decent results for shorter distances any help is appretiated *just looking for a way to shoot indoors safly thanks

I don't think you can... I never heard of them anyway... Primed .22 shells I mean.

Why don't you just get factory ammunition and take the lead and powder out of them and then put what you want back in? Will that work?

when i had my 2240 fireing in .30 cal i made my own bullets ill tell everyone later tonight how i did it

Wasteful? The bullets are good slingshot/sling ammo, and the powder... Ya, well um.... Is fun...

Yeah, gunpowder is fun.. But can't you use the powder from the regular rounds for your wax bullet things?

alot more power then needed for 10 meter shooting in my basement also too noisy and smokie

Why not get a gun that fires CB or BB .22 rimfire caps instead of .22lr? Low power, but still great for 10m...
