A new old guy from the Mojave Desert in CA, where we just saw 118 deg F a week ago and now the air is smoke-filled from the fires up north.
I've been following you guys (quietly) for some time; learning from rsterne, lauchlin, Ace and others who have posted C1400 fixes and rebuilds.
After taking my C1400 apart years ago, I didn't think it would ever shoot again, but today it did, so I'm grateful for all the help you have provided.
I got some new parts from JG Airguns and with some of your photos, got all the valve parts lined up, new o-rings, and a new pump cup.
As soon as I figure out how to get a picture of it posted, I will do that.
Just wanted to come out of the dark and thank you all for the great info you have been putting out here.
Btw, Uncle Joe says the border's open, so come on down.... anytime. It feels like the Devil's not far from here.

Welcome. Border is open for you to visit but not for us to visit you. 118F means a Co2 cartridge will be powerful! :D
I'm hoping the border will be open later this Fall and will pass through Mojave on the way to San Diego/Hemet. Hopefully not 118 when I do.
We had 104 on one trip. Too too hot.

Fall is the best time in the desert; except maybe for a bloomin' Spring, which is rare.
I meant the CA border is open because there's nobody up there; everyone's down in TX.
Sorry; not familiar with 118F, but will look that up.
Hope your trip to Hemet/SD is safe and warm (not too hot).
