I found myself at a loose end, with time to kill and stuck in a strange place - when I came across a Crosman 7760 - which turns out to be a new and improved 760. It's supposed to have a better trigger, more power, and a 1000 BB reservoir. Anyhow, now I own one. :)

I can't find any tear down or internal schematics for this version, if anyone can point me to some specific info i'd appreciate it. It also goes by the name 760 Classic. I already reached out to MyCrosman to do his blot probe mod. My concern is mainly how the trigger and other internals go together. I vaguely remember working on my 760 and 2100 a long time ago, and maybe having to use twist ties etc to hold the innards in while bringing the two halves of the action housing together. Thanks, :drinkers:

Goes together rather simply....all the pieces fit into the left side and you place the right side on top....then push down on the trigger to hold everything in place while you set the right part of the receiver in place...make sure the crossbolt safety is aligned with the hole or it will be pushed out of the spring....
