44fpe is indeed,"Thumping" from such a short bl. How many shots to a fill at that power level?

With the 350cc bottle I get 56 shots on the regulator from 300 bar fill. Efficiency is not the Leshiy strongpoint.

Late to the party on this one. Since the purchase of my .25 Leshiy . My other guns have either gone up for sale or have been left on the wall hanging out. This is a true small game slayer pushing 44 FPE out of that short 350mm barrel. Here she is in the wild .The pic was taken at a friends place where we can shoot with just about zero wind out to 150 yards. I’ve got an original FX smooth twist barrel on the way to be fitted to it . This should push it well beyond 60fpe with an increase or regulated air pressure.

What have you done in terms of tuning your Leshiy 2?

I'm still tweaking it in .22, but I think I'm close to done. Haven't tried installing my .30 cal barrel. That's more of an extravagance.

I've settled into a pretty happy spot with the Leshiy 2 in 0.22 calibre.

I 3d printed a little thread protector / muzzle brake / air stripper for the tip of the barrel.

Replaced the stock jetting (a mislabelled pair that appears to have been 0.2mm and 0.5mm) with two 1.2mm jets. Also tuned the regulator down to about 110 bar. Now it's not ridiculously loud.

Replaced the grip with the Valkyrie version, as it has a little tool hide in the centre of the grip. Very handy.

Been using either a red dot, or the Sightmark 4k mini Wraith scope.

Also acquired a 0.30 cal barrel. Will tune that next.

About a month after I received the rifle, I tuned it with a jet kit I got from EdgunWest. I ended up with a .5 and .6 jets. That’s all I’ve done for tuning. For mods , I’m now running the lower tube on the top , and using a 480cc tank. I also got my FX original smooth twist barrel . I cut it down to about 530mm and this puts out about 60fpe just with the barrel swap and no other changes. The barrel hasn’t been tested at the range yet so I’m not sure if it’s a shooter or not. I’m really hoping it likes the MKII ‘s .

What a beautiful setup !
I'm just starting to tune my new-to-me Leshiy classic. The size and quality of these guns is remarkable !

Took my son to the firing range yesterday. He tried out a scope (March 1-10 shorty), the red dot (aimpoint ACRO) and iron sights (Troy).

Red dot was his go-to. He was nailing targets quickly and reliably. Iron sights were a bit of a mystery to him. He was okay with the scope, but found it fussy, compared to the red-dot. He's still getting used to holding a rifle, and positioning his body.

This was his 2nd time at the range. First time didn't go so well -- he was freaked out by all the loud noises. This time was great. Once he started hitting targets with the red dot, I couldn't load the gun fast enough for him.

When I was a kid, I didn't know rifles could have anything other than iron sights.
