European guns are the way to go these days. Unless you can find an older Remington, so I've been told. My 22-250 is an early 80s rem 700, it has been worked on though. Varmint barrel, blueprinted action, jewelled bolt, some nice wood... I'll post a picture when I get home.


Yeah nice shot! Didn't see it coming :lol: and no I don't believe in lucky shots. There's good and bad shots.

The older Remington's shot well. I had a .22-250 Varmint 700 from about 2010 - best it would do it in inch at 100M.
Ridiculously inaccurate compared to even the sporter weights of the 70's and 80's. Had a 788 that usually stayed in
the 1/4" range for 3 shot groups and 3/8" for 5 shot groups - 100yards, back then.
