I am sure there are many exercises to improve shooting skills. For example, I introduced dry-shooting while laying on my back with book on the muzzle )) Please, share your favorit drills

When I was doing a lot of one-handed bullseye pistol shooting (about 40 years ago), I used to hold a 10lb dumbbell (started at 5lb and worked up) stiff armed in a shooting stance until my arm started to shake. I added this to my gym workouts. After a while, my 1911 felt almost weightless. Looked goofy in the gym but it was effective.

Edit: no, my right deltoid didn't get bigger than my left deltoid!

How long can you hold 10lb (4 and a hald kilo) ?

My favorit drill is standing on shaky surface and dry-shooting 1377 with ribbon attached to the muzzle. I step on the other side of the ribbon. It gives additional 2-4 lb tension that makes the pistol shake. Alternating left to right hand for 10-15 seconds each hand. Short rest in between standing relax of shaky surface with closed eyes ))
