I wanted to give a smol update on my DIY range, I have it cut back to I think 75 yards ish and dad built a shooting bench (to his dimensions bugger...) I have a metal and wood backstop and solar flood light for evening shooting now.

Have any of you built your own ranges?

Post some pictures if you have!

I am still thinking about doing some youtube videos at some point (The air gun world always needs more lady shooters/content creators... Even just for Canada! So many special and specific things for our region vs the general air gun world)

It looks a little scuffed but I promise it's well-loved and used! Easily put over 3000+ shots down er' and plenty more will follow!

Not to worry! Luce (my cat) is safe and I am on lunch break so no shooting in today yet!

I will also say that I feel much safer using my own air gun range the main gun range I was going to out west which had a lot more trigger-happy powder burners, and driving distance/membership costs! My ears are happier too!

Though I do miss the community and connections it offered!

That looks awesome. Nice to have some land. Makes me want to buy some just for shooting.

That's a good looking bench & range. Without the "hammering" of the powder burners, will be quite pleasant.
This time of year no bugs - extra nice.
Appears to be quite low for the seat(s), though - easily remedied.

Yeah I noticed I am angling up a little at times depending.

For me I didn't have to build it and still get to use it so I am not complaining too much :P

I do need to get a sandbag shooting rest or something though for shooting from rest.

I have 5ac here, and am looking to do the same.
I started to clear a path down 100yrds.
It's all sandy here, so trees and bush come out fairly easy.
