Hi, i try to find option to remplace the 12g co2 tank on one of my 2240 serie. I throw on recycling bin 3 to 5 tank by week

At the same time i think more volume of liquid co2 will be more regulated, now i shoot between 70 to 80 shoots by tank but the i better like to refill it after 60 ( a full match)

The only option i seen was the hipack fill with co2 have better option on the market for co2, i want to keep my pistol like is it now thats why i dont look for convert to hpa for this one

The only bulk fill option I have seen for the Cr2240 came from Dennis Quackenbush in the USA. He made a steel reservoir that would replace the powerlet cap and extend to the seal. It threaded into the pistol and had a check-valve on the end to accept a standard 1/8" NPT. I met Dennis back around 2001 at an airgunshow and he had a bunch of the bulk fill units on his table for $35USd. I think he quit making them long ago but you can drool over a pic at this link. The top 2240 has the fill adapter installed.

GMAC has lots of parts for doing this conversion.

A couple of the MYOT HPA conversion might work with CO2.

I understand you want to keep the pistol as close to it's current configuration as possible.

Most options out there are either fugly, heavy, or will just flat out ruin the balance.

The hipac units have had quality control issues in the past, don't know whether those issues have been addressed. If they have..yeah, thread in solution for you.

The Quackenbush unit predates the hipac unit by a good bit, likely 10+yrs and would be a HIGH quality unit and great score if you could find one. Don't think Dennis has made them in quite a while.

If pinning the valve were an option, I'd go that route and use an extended valve front and foster fill assembly...neat and tidy.

Al
