Thought I'd share my experience on this sweet little rifle.

Purchased from a member here early spring 2021. Loved it out of the box, beautiful stock, nice grip, but there was space for improvements on the performance side. It had a noticeable bark and was shooting really hot (high 900s - 18fpe), so the first thing I did was replace the stock regulator with a Huma regulator. Boy what a difference! I tried it at 105bar and the rifle was still shooting hot, but with a really nice standard deviation (less than 5fps on a 13 shot string)

However, I was only getting 30-40 shots before it would fall off the regulator, and it still had a bark. I tried upping the regulator pressure to 120bar to see if it would reduce the amount of wasted air, which it did: I was getting similar velocities and seeing somewhat of an increase in shot count. But I wasn’t satisfied, I knew I had to do something with the hammer spring. Now the hammer spring can be adjusted, but only one way : you can add tension but the stock prevents the hammer screw to stick out of the action so you can’t really reduce the tension. So that meant I had to cut down the spring until I got better results. So I cut one coil out and tried it: bingo ! No more barking, I’m now getting close to 100 regulated shots on one fill, reaching almost 15fpe, perfect for backyard pesting and plinking. I’m very pleased with the results. If I had maybe one negative comment on this gun: it seems to be very pellet picky. So far, here are the top 2 pellets that shoots the best with my Outlaw :
JSB Monster 13.43gr - 10 shots- avg 700fps - 14.53ft/lbs - 2.7fps SD - 0.25 inch @ 30 yards
H&N Field Target Trophy 8.64gr - 10 shots - avg 851fps - 13.9ft/lbs - 2.8 SD - 0,25inch @ 30 yards
This gun turned out to be so much more than I had expected, I definitely recommend it.
