I try to keep my political thoughts out of this airgun forum. I find it impossible to talk about this issue without it becoming a political discussion that raises my blood pressure.

Unfortunately Roger is not in a priority demographic so the media and our political leadership does not care.

There will be no protest marches where the PM can join for some selfies and to take a knee for the cameras.

I am glad to see the lawsuit launched so hopefully some information will be forced to be disclosed.

Sounds incriminating, but I don't believe it, especially due to IT coming from the government's media outlet.

Is it bad that the first thought I had was "it took them long enough to machine those markings off and cobble together a story to cover their asses"?

No it is not bad.
Even if any of that were true does anyone in this world think dying is a fair punishment?

I had similar thoughts, Headdamage. Wouldn't be the first time that I suspected some 'fiddling' might have been done, after the fact.

The search warrant still hasn't surfaced, I assume.

I've know roger since the 1990's.He was my gunsmith and cz ipsc mentor. He was extremely above board, zero chance he would do anything shady. He had hundreds of police officers as customers over the years including most of local police force and was once of top CZ Ipsc pistol designers around since cz75 came into canada after the wall came down via lever arms in vancouver. I can't even image his poor wife having to witness what they did.
Because of this I recently sold my RPAL pistols including the one he built for me in what would be called classic division Minor power factor. I just could not look at it again..

I hear you Walter. "Fabrication of evidence" is entirely possible, especially with the time line involved in this 'case'.

1) Doesn't quite pass the smell-test
2) Certainly doesn't justify the level of violence they used in this operation

The CFO could have simply request a meeting to inspect his inventory.
