pete... i bubbled to the surface your 19X thread where i mention the fatter belly of the 19 G3 rail....

note on that thread where i mention the fat belly of the 19 G3 rail precluding me from holstering it, or mounting a light/strobe......

as i have 2, i flat filed one to mimic the rail profile of the 19X.. i didn't have to take too much off. i did lose a bit of the serial number plate..

AND....

i think i recall mention on CAF of 2 types of slides on the 19 GEN3..
my older one has a glossy-ish slide that marks real easy from a cytak style holster...
my second on (from PA) has a matte finish to the slide and a 'parkerized'? finish to it. was this a refurbish move due to unhappy customers of the first(?) batch?

that laser is a very close fit. i was thinking of maybe filing a bit off. but i thought there might be one that is made for glocks and fits snugly in front of the trigger guard. i just looked on e-bay and saw them. but they are $33.00 and would probably sit out in the harbour for eons. i see those little square ones on amazon too. i.ll figure somethin out.

Something like this should fit your Glock;

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07PQRZCN1/?co ... _lig_dp_it

But I have not tried it on my Glock 19, that I got at PA. Just using the fixed open sights.

Less than $24, and says to arrive by Dec 23. Amazon is usually pretty good on giving a refund if not arrived on time.

Not quite a Glock, its the ISSC M-22, but very similar. I put this laser on it. The switch is easy to press with your trigger finger.

What's different about a Glock. I have these on a few BB/Pellet replicas

https://www.ebay.com/itm/303642016233

Granted I don't use the pistols much

Thanks Pete. I bought one of these a few years ago. Thought it fit under the barrel, as no mounting instructions came with it. So could not get it to fit. Will try it again on top.

good one bb. it looks like it just slides down over top of the rail-- maybe fitting snug-- so you might have to tap it on with something-- or did it come with screws. let me know how you make out -- and i might order one--and see how long it takes to get here.

it's not a Glock issue but a Umarex issue on the 19 Gen 3. the rail profile has a belly making it too thick.

the UMX Glock 19X's rail is true to the original's profile.

well i got impatient-- after i saw that one on e-bay i decided i didn,t wan,t to spend $20.00 bucks and wait for a slow boat from shanghai-- so i improvised. i didn,t drill any holes in the gun-- the base for the mini dot sight slides over the rail--it fits so nice and tight that i have a hard time pulling it off-- so it shouldn,t move at all when i shoot. of course --again i can,t try it out till monday when the neighbours go to work. i might paint the base black. later.
