I bought a new pcp and after sitting for a few days,
It’s low on pressure. Maybe 40 bar from when I put it away. Should I be concerned?

Which gun is it? Sounds like it has a slow leak. On the Artemis guns the intake valve where you put the fill probe is often the culprit. Other guns will have other common leak points. Many guns suffer from a slow leak in the exhaust valve. I've seen this in fx quite a bit, and in almost every brand I've sold, such as Kral, Aselkon, Artemis, Diana, Beeman. Siemtines just taking it apart and cleaning the valve, valve stem and seal can fix it.

When my gun was new (kral), if it fell below 60 bar the valve would leak very slow. I could hear the leak. I recharge the air at 100 bar so I can not say if it still leaks or not at low pressure. It has sat for 3 weeks now at max pressure with no air loss that I can tell.

well I would say it is common but, not desireable. Alot of times small leaks make larger ones, another day.

short answer is "no" it should not be losing pressure
you have a small leak somewhere, what PCP is it ?
and did it drop 40bar then stayed that way or still dropping

It’s an Artemis m11. (On a side note, this thing is accurate as heck Wes!.)

One day it sat in my cold truck and dropped quite a bit. Pumped it back up to 200 bar. Shot it down to about 150 and put it in the front closet that night. Yesterday (two days later) it was down to about 110. Filled to 200 last night and it held there so now I’m stumped

150 to 110 is more drop than temp will produce alone, I'm sure. Since it is now holding - GREAT!

I bought 2 "used" 77(?)cu. in. SCB carbon tanks. I bought the fill hoses, etc, from Joe Brancato. Once I
rented/bought the 200 pound 4,500psi Nitrogen tank, I filled both of the carbon fiber tanks to 4,500psi. Over the course
of 24 hours, both tanks had leaked down to 2,000psi. I refilled them and both held after that. That was a couple years ago,
and I'm still happy I bought the tanks. Now that I have a compressor, I might sell them, or not. Both are beyond their filling
"dates" and were so, when I bought them. They are both in great condition, but still have over 3,500psi in them, so I'm keeping
them for now.

Suddenly my 40bar leak down doesn’t seem like much. Just checked and it’s still holding at 200bar on the dot.

No it's not common and shouldn't happen. I got maybe 6 PCP and they all hold pressure indefinitely. Only time it happened was on my PP750 with a cracked poppet valve.
