Due to the fixed barrel, 12 shot .177 magazine (10 shot .22), this looks like a really interesting rifle at a pretty reasonable price. I will be looking for a
non-pcp rifle with more than 495 fps for pest control and casual target shooting. I've seen the Youtube reviews from 2019 when it came out and more than one of them stated that their review was done on the second or third gun that was shipped to them. Seems that quality control was an issue in the early days but I would hope that that has been remedied by now.
All in all, I think this rifle, assuming msrp of about $300, would fit my needs perfectly. I also welcome any other non-pcp/non-co2 recommendations with similar power and a multi-shot capacity. My preference is for .22 but may consider .177.
Looking forward to hearing from any and all members who'd like to weigh in on this.
TIA.

Nope - this is the first review that caught my eye.
"Don't tip the rifle or the magazine might fall out" kinda destroyed any thoughts I had about owning one.

Yeah. I saw some other reviews where the mag definitely clicked in place and the reviewer even tipped the gun to show how the mag was holding in place.

Thanks for the clarification on the magazine. Could anyone actually confirm that the mags no longer fall out. And how the .22 actually shoots.

I see Cabela's is now selling them in .177 & .22.

I have a synergis in .22
I can confirm that the mag stays in place very well.
But the rifle is decent....but not out of the box.
It's nasty gross dirty inside like most umarex stuff. So a good cleaning and quality lube is a MUST!
With a good cleaning and synthetic lube it turns a good rifle into a Great rifle.

Thanks for the input. How long have you owned yours? Are the magazines durable?

I've only had it 2 days,
The mags feel good, very simple operation so I don't forsee an issue, but they can't hold longer pellets (polymag, blue bomber, redfire etc...)
I did put 24 shots down before I pulled it apart, it shot ok. Tighter groups than any of my break barrel springers, it's also supriizingly quiet... (these have a dirty little secret it seems)

So I've got it all tuned and cleaned and greased.
This thing is a shooter for sure.
Nice and consistent @ 755-760 fps with 14.3 gr and dang accurate.

But now I'm gonna sell it as I just ordered a Pumcher jumbo pro 500. It's a true sickness this airgun stuff lol

Good to hear! What size groups at what distance? Did you try out the supplied optic?
