My boss has a bunch of old Scott packs in the shop. He told me I could just have one to use for filling my pcp. What will I need for an adapter? What do I look for as far as certifications on the tank etc? Anyone use a Scott pack to fill?

should have a stamp somewhere on the bottle with a date
take it to a scuba shop and have it hydro tested and certified if its less then 15 years old

Fully-wrapped fiberglass cylinders should be tested every three years
and have a 15-year service life.
Fully-wrapped Kevlar cylinders should be tested every three years
and have a 15-year service life.
Fully-wrapped carbon fiber cylinders should be tested every five years
and have a 15-year service life.

Thank you Ace. I believe these bottles are 12 years old so they have a few years left. And the price is right lol.

If you go to Joe Brancato's online store, you should be able to figure out what attachments/whip you need for filling
the tank and guns from the pictures he has there. That's what I did.

That website is like a candy store!!!! Man, the folks south of the border got it made for airguns compared to us. Can’t wait for my pal to get here and at least have a few more options. But those silenced shrouded barrels in the states and uk are sure sweet

At the cost of that candy, I'll wager that you'll not be getting many cavities, he he.
