Is this the same company or a rebrand of the MTC scopes? They look almost identical.

They even have the same mount with the elevation correction.

Interesting,

Sure sounds/looks similar but the Immersive is 10x40, not 10x30 like the MTC..

"Objective Lens Diameter, mm 40" (not 30 mm)

The word on the street is:

The guy who developed the SWAT Prismatic Scope line for MTC (Including the 10x30 MTC Atom) decided to leave the company and branch out on his own when MTC decided not to produce the whole line of his products. Immersive Optics was the result,

I for one am very pleased; I waited for well over two years to get my hands on the 10x30 Atom and they just never made it across the pond. Finally I have the 10x40 and the 5x30 Prismatic from Immersive Optics and I'm stoked we finally have a reliable Canadian Vendor to supply us with these hard to get optics.

Many thanks to Wes at Airgun Archery Fun for having the vision to get this line of optics..!

There's also the 12x50

I have this one. The super-wide field of view making hunting for targets relatively easy.

The main problem with these scopes is the shallow eye relief, so I find I have to put picatinny extenders on my rifle, to get the scope closer to my face.

Anything for you Murray... 8)

Thanks for the Link/Heads Up on the MTC Prismatics at A.G.S delooper; but the Immersive Optics line is much cheaper than MTC and while it's early days in my testing/experience with the IO products, I'm confident I made the right decision.

I hope the MTC offers you many years of service..!

I'm not trying to sway anyone to purchase anything, just trying to learn what's going on, and maybe help other people make some sense of product offerings.
