Ok yes I could see that. It's not a smooth part that's for sure.
Some of these revolver replicas they make now are pretty nice though I must say.
Is this m29 what crosman used as a base for the 38t ?
Looks pretty close

The Crosman 38 series is modelled after the Smith and Wesson K-38 revolvers or better known as the Model 14.

I'm so jealous!!

I will eventually get the 6" M29 hopefully in this black! Have a pellet barrel waiting for it to cut down:)

Thanks for the update!

Your pellet barrel project might be difficult due to the ejector rod & ejector rod housing.
As well, the shape of the M29's barrel is not round, but has a rib & the attached ejector rod housing.

It won't be a drop in like the DW 715?

I only have the old style DW, but I would assume the M29 is the same, or very similar to the 715. The breach of the barrel is cone shaped, and it moves in and out with the cylinder.
The hammer and trigger are smoother than the old style DW.

What is the Cad market price on these?

Airgun Source lists them at 159, but I doubt they will be that low when they finally get them. I paid 129 USD.

I seen that at AGS, I thought they would be in the 200 dollar bracket like the 715's. That sounds like a good price you got it for.

Yes. I have not taken it apart, but that is what I would expect.

They have had that price listed since Umarex first announced them. I really don't expect they will be that price when they arrive.

I looked at the picture enlarged and compared to my .44 Mag. The barrel profile and ejector housing appear part and parcel with the barrel. Did you not look at it yourself?

If I owned one, I wouldn't be asking other people questions. There not really even on the market yet. How can you compare it to a reall 44 mag?
