Here's a story about a Daisy 790 CO2 pistol that I played with last year. It had a damaged muzzle so I ended up chopping off that short piece. I tested a few pellet types and found the 8.44gr JSB Exact shot the best with groups at 3/8" at 10m. The 7.33gr RS and the 7.87gr Express versions didn't shoot as well in this low powered pistol.

The LW barrel should give you .25" and likely smaller. I'm looking forward to reading your results.

I just take the gun apart, new lw suppose to be here next week.

I make a big clean up of the barrel and find a scratch who run on all the length of the barrel pretty sure that's the problem .

If the scratch runs on a land or groove all the way from breech to muzzle, it will likely have zero effect on accuracy.

If it runs across the tops of the lands in a straight line, then yes, it will be detrimental to good accuracy.

3/8" might be the best YOU can shoot with the pistol at 10 meters and is not a bad grouping imho.

I put it on my old 2240 it s now a 1740, enough accurate to plink, keep all shoot in 5/8 " at 6 m. I use crosman pointed lube with 2 stroke synthetic oil, suppose to help to prevent foulling ... With the rear adjuster al way out i got 50 shoots at same speed and a other 10 a bit slower good enough for plinking fun.

OK SRY - my misunderstanding. I see it was TCooper who got 3/8" and a bit better.
5/8" at 6m is very good for someone not well versed and practiced with handgun shooting.
Is this free hand? If so, it's very good.

Just receive my lw barrel and just make a quick installation, first group of 5 with excite eco II
0.26" . Barrel was full clean and before to try target i shoot around 10 shoots at the chrony. I lost a good 10 fps but still 470 fps at 1 meter from the barrel not a big concern.

Wow, quarter inch with crappy cheap lead. I bet it will like H&N Finale Match or JSB Match. Probably even do better than quarter with RWS Meisters. You likely lost a bit of fps because of the choke. No biggie.
