I had asked a very similar question with a lower budget ($700) a few weeks ago and had picked some pretty similar rifles for my short list, especially the CZ200. The only thing that turned me off on the CZ, was that most of the reviews commented on how the size of the rifle made it a great choice for ladies or youths. I'm a big guy, and while I appreciate a light and compact firearm, I'm not that comfortable with a number of smaller springers I have around the house from my son's (or my) youth. So I kept looking, and with the help from one of the inmates here (Ravenair), was encouraged to consider the Weihrauch HW110 which is available for not much more than your $800 budget. Order from the forum store, and taxes are included at $999.

Mine arrived weeks ago, but my glass didn't show up for it until a couple of days ago. In the meantime, I also ended up buying the regulated Artemis M11 Mk2 for a good price from Wes, thinking my son would want to come shooting and single shot springer wouldn't be fun when Dad's got a 10 shot clip. The Artemis is worth the money, but the Weihrauch is just better in the way the mags load, the loading cycle, etc. Out of the box, the trigger is a relevation (at least for me). I wish all of mine guns were like this.

Good luck with the search!

So I am pretty set on the CZ 200S.
I have a CZ457 rimfire and it it my favorite rifle, even over some pricier other options.
I realize the CZ won't fit my original goals but since winter is just beginning I think it will be a good indoor shooter. And, being honest with myself it isn't like it's the one and only PCP rifle I will buy. Reality is it's just the start.

So glass I have sorted, will steal the Discovery off my M2 for the time being.
Compressor, I have just grabbed a Xisico off Wes so that is covered.

If your first PCP, I recommend one of the $30 AliExpress chronographs. They help to identify a lot of issues, including a bad breech seal "O" ring.

Please keep us in the loop.

I'm very pleased with the smaller cousin, Diana Stormrider, especially having added regulator and front barrel band.

Well I ordered the CZ200S in 177 with the Red/Black stock.
Credit Card is taking a hit but I have posted one of my GSG rimfire rifles on other forum to help recoup some of the spending.
Will post up when I have some stuff arrive.
Thanks all for your suggestions.

So I gt my 200S and I think I'm in love.
I haven't got my Quick fill yet but manged to get a few 55 BAR fills so far from an old scuba tank we had from our paintball days.
Only seeing 550fps and dropping every shot but it looks to shoot well so far, can't wait to get it up to actual working pressures.

This should keep my PRS game up0 to snuff over the cold winter months.
I want to thank YepYep for the stellar recommendation on this rifle.

Excellent acquisition. And with this rifle being discontinued, each one bought is one less on the market. 55 bars is no where near the operating pressure. With it fully filled you'll get incredibly consistent velocity for an unregulated PCP.
