I just purchased an "Endoscope" from Amazon.ca that is only 3.9 mm in diameter (actual diameter = 0.156")....

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08C33 ... UTF8&psc=1

It has a 1 metre long cable (82 cm = 32.5" insertable), adjustable brightness, and three different USB connectors (standard, micro, and type "c").... It works on my computer, using the "Camera" app, just as if it was a webcam.... and also on my Samsung A7 Lite tablet, using the "Inskam" app downloaded from Google Play.... You can see "live" video at 640 x 480, 25 fps, and record it.... or take snapshots at up to 1280 x 720.... It is focused from 4 - 10 cm (1.5 - 4").... It is supposed to also work on Apple devices, but I don't know as I don't have any.... I believe you can also purchase it with longer cables....

Most of the borescopes you can buy are 5.5 mm (~0.217"), and a tight fit in a .22 cal airgun barrel (although most fit in a .22 rimfire or centerfire barrel).... I'm looking forward to trying it on some barrels to see if I can see leading.... Best part, it's less than $40, shipped, including taxes.... 8)

They certainly have a lot of varieties, 4 lengths, 4 diameters, and 2 cable types.... but not every combination.... It looks like the 3.9 mm are a lot more than the others, but still cheaper than from Amazon.... The one I got from China would be $20.53 + 3.95 shipping.... I got mine from Amazon in a week, with their return policy to rely on if it didn't work.... I think the soft cable is better for barrels, but that's just a guess.... I notice the 5.5 mm and 7 mm are lower resolution.... :?
