I am a bit of a slug noobie, but was thinking about trying some out.

Also in general is there any clear way to tell if they are safe to use with magazines?

I picked up some of these JSB Match Diabolo JSB KnockOut 25.39gr Slugs Size : .217 I was wondering if there might be a problem or not for the standard mag on the Huntsman Revere, or Dreamline?

I know some companies sell special barrel liners and stuff for slugs so that also has me worried that it could damage the rifling?

You won’t cause damage to the rifling or to the magazines. There’s is a possibility that the slugs you ordered won’t shoot well from your rifle due to the size. I always recommend that when starting out you get a sample pack of different sizes and weights to see which shoot best from the rifle you use. The other thing is the power made by the rifle might not be enough to get the slugs to an accurate speed.

any pellet or slugs that fit in your magazine will shoot as long as the magazine fits back in your gun...
