Wanted to edit a post and some reason I can't.. edit button is missing?

When you're viewing the thread, at the bottom of each post there's a bunch of buttons.

Bottom-left side has "profile" and "pm" buttons. Bottom-right has "edit" and "quote" buttons. Edit only appears for your own posts.

You can only edit posts shortly after you make them, and can't delete them in the future. Kind of weird that you can't delete old sale ads - I even clicked report on a couple of my own and typed in I was trying to remove them but the mods want to leave everything as-is.

Well i have remove many many post at the request of the OP when items are sold ....If you pm me you want something removed its easier for me and i just looked i did not see your reported posts :wink:

What a coincidence, someone got to the week's old report in between my comment and yours lol. I looked before I posted to see if it was still there but now all gone. Thanks I'll message next time

as CaperJim has mentioned the edit button has a limit and then it is timed out
if there is anything you need edited after the timed out has expired pm one of the mod's
with what you would like to have edited and to what post.... :wink:
and also to CaperJim's question on the report button yes it does work and shows up
for only the mod's to see

Ya it dose not just pop up saying there a report mods have to look and even when we look there easy to over look ....
