Continuing my journey on the 2240, I want to run it on HPA tethered to a 13ci 850 psi regulated paintball tank.
I like notec's suggested method using a Foster threaded into the end cap. It would be "non destructive" since the end cap doesn't hold any gas but I'd rather leave my end cap stock and machine a new end cap with a O-ring grove purposely machined in. So, can anyone tell me the thread used in the end cap?
notec's method:
Thread your end cap to accept the Foster fitting. Put a used powerlet in the gun with the end drilled the same size as the Foster fitting. Make sure to put an oring at the end of the powerlet between it and the endcap. This will seal the powerlet against the endcap keeping the gas from bypassing the powerlet into the valve body.

13/16-28 IIRC

Would rather skip the oring and machine a "false cartridge" along with the endcap. Only needs to be a tube off the endcap really...this is a nice one you could use for "inspiration".

Yes I've seen those, even considered buying (whuut?) one. But going for cheap and cheerful. Currently it has a CO2 in it so Ill have a go with that thread and the o-ring and see how she shoots on HPA.
