A five paddle taller unit would be great. There is something exciting about coming down to that last target and trying to hit it before your rival does. And of course, the more excited you get the less likely you are to hit it. :lol:

Close eyes, pull trigger, listen for the hit.

For me this is about as likely to work and far less stressful than all that fussing with aiming at something the size of a pellet. [emoji6]

I pretty well always aim at something as big or smaller than a pellet. Even on a 1.5" zone at 12 yards, I aim for the centre of a pellet hit or a small bit of paint left on the paddle. It makes sure you do not embarrass yourself and also serves as a zero check for the gun.

Rob shot this target at Chris's today @ 10 yards( no not with .25 impact) pp700sa 450 FPS. .22 . and it was such a fun target to shoot. Hits give a great reaction. The spinners really spin fast loved it. :lol:

Bob, could you see this as a good gunslinger target? At 30-35 yards, I would think a .375", .5", .75" 1" and 1.5" would provide some fast shooting, but also some pucker factor, especially on the two small ones.

The large KYL unit has the following paddle sizes:
2", 1-1/2", 1-1/4", 1", 3/4", 1/2", 3/8". Chris and I have added the plain blade @3/16" to our target frames. The paddles are easy to remove if you want a specific number or sizes of paddles. The 2" paddle seems a bit large lol. A little breeze makes the smaller paddle sizes interesting. I had these made up for Chris and I just because they looked like fun

Tim, I was ref. the Mini target. But , Yes I think regular target in paddle sizes you suggested here would be a blast at 30 to 35 yards. And not having to pull strings Priceless.Thinking it would generate some fun times to remember indeed. Also sure it would increase participation, shooters really like this target. Rob has a real winner with this target. :idea: :lol:

Rob did a fine job in this design. I intend to shoot this at 25 yards next time at HAHA.

That looks great!
If I ever made it to the last one, I think that I would be aiming for the middle of the stick since the red part is the same size.

I look forward to spinning at least the first couple paddles!

The small paddle is 1/4" and the arm is 3/16" thick. Big advantage to aim for the paddle :D

Hi Rob, Cheers Rob hope to see you at the range soon. Tom nice Job on putting that target together. thanks to Rob G for getting them done up for us. Like Rob G said big advantage to aim for stick :wink:

That's OK Tom. You've got a small car. You can still reach without the handle :) You did a nice job just don't shoot the spacers now :)

If the "bullseye" or target you are aiming at is almost too small to aim at, you will shoot tighter groups. The larger the target, the larger the groups, if shooting iron sights & with scopes to some extent as well.
The larger the target, the sloppier the shooting. That is why Mac picks a tiny aiming point. "Aim small, miss small" (The Patriot).
