Are you talking about something like a lead sled, meaning a rest for forend and butt - or just an adjustable forend rest?
This is from Cabelas.

There is a made in Canada version of the SEB Mini, a joystick-controlled BR shooting rest. They are very well made and are available from a Canadian shooting supply dealer. For information, ask on this thread.

More following these pictures below.

One-piece rests are harder to find in Canada. It's possible they can be shipped from American suppliers.

For the unitiated, below are examples of one piece BR rests.

I am negotiating in my mind to go with a "one piece" or "two piece" setup, both have pros and cons.
The best would be having both :)
The SEB Mini looks OK, but I have friends - owners of machine shops as well.
What Canadian shooting supply dealer?

The rest in question is available from Extreme Gun Shooting Center in Winnipeg.

The SEB Mini type of rest is not the kind that readily lends itself to easy and affordable duplication.

Although you don't say in this thread what rifle the rest is to be used with, I see that in your posts elsewhere that it's for an FX Impact Mark II. As a cautionary note, this rifle is not a model that's particularly rest-friendly in design.

My FX Impact is modified for 100 meters BR. As we can see from the picture both the elevation and windage I am driving at the rear with the monopod:

Looking into online pictures I think the one piece rest would be the best for the Impact, both in function and convenience. At front I have a Arca-Swiss rail and picatinny at rear.
My best idea so far is to build one rest/fixture completely from scratch, I have the measurements will put it in CAD, soon I will be ready to source to a machine shop.

With a BR rest, the distance is not relevant.

You mention a Arca-Swiss rail. Are you planning to use it to attach the rifle to the rest?

At the moment I am using it and I can say I like the arca-swiss connection, it is a dimensionally tight and repeatable, I like it more then a picatinny.
I don't see any alternative that can work with same quality, yes, I would use it again to clamp the gun.

In rimfire benchrest rifles are not attached to the rest. Centerfire too. The rifle is free to recoil, however slight in the case of rimfire the recoil might be.

Even return to battery rests (usually custom made) are not allowed, either. I've seen these with V and U shaped delrin pieces on the forend add under the butt, that fit
corresponding stainless steel brackets on the home made rests.
Separate front rest and rear bag as well are required, AFAIK.
These Extreme Benchrest rules might help, or not.

I knew I read it somewhere long ago, and even in this your link is showing that a one piece rest is allowed. But also I remember some conversations that "some events in some clubs" allowing and some ...not.

The One-Piece_Rests I have in my mind I cannot get any within 6-8 months time frame so I will be building one on my own based on Ahrens Rest.
The design is in progress and I will start sourcing for parts probably during January.
