Christmas is the time for sharing with family and friends, and I generally don't put emphasis on the stuff, but I'm so excited about my new found hobby in woodworking air gun stocks and furniture that I want to share what I'm doing and to invite you to show us what you got or did this year at Christmas. You can tell, I'm working on pistol grips for my 13xx/22xx platform, although they won't really go with the 24" barrel on my pumper i could put them on my 2240.

.............

No gun things except I removed the fancy red color rings from the cz200 and put a low profile set as using single shot loader I don't need that high clearance anymore...

BUT~ I fixed the power head of my 'sucker' with trigger which stopped working exactly every two years (I checked my order history.... ) and I decided not buying a new one for it this year so I teared it down....

Luckily I managed puting things back and it works now~ [emoji38] ImageImageImageImage

Been working on a set of grips for a mk1. Cocobolo, left hand with the thumb rest. Must say it's a lot more work than I expected.
Cut the inletting with an end mill. Bit sloppy... My first set of grips though. Needs a bit more sanding and some oil maybe.

Nicely made set of wrong handed grips.
I suggest Circa 1850 Tung Oil, or Circa 1850 Danish Oil with Tung Oil. Home Hardware stores.
An alcohol/maple stain might look nice, as well, better than simply oiling. Of course, it's up to you.
Testing on a piece of the same would, makes sense.

wrong handed grips  it's for my dad. He's a lefty. So naturally, I grew up learning how to shoot left handed rifles, right handed.

I was leaning towards the tung oil, I have the 1850 stuff. I also have boiled linseed oil.
The thing with cocobolo, it's almost hard enough to just take a felt buffing wheel to it. Polishes up pretty nice. But I imagine it would be a good idea to seal it.

Machined some parts to install paintball regulator on a cz200 air cylinder. Still have to tune the regulator pressure and do a leak test.

Very nice. Cocobolo is one of my all time favorite woods. Heavy and tough. Going to look fantastic once finished.

A Gyroscopic Watch Winder.

Received this as a gift from my wife to display & wind my automatic wrist watches. Cycles, on 2 minutes, off 8 minutes. Currently has her really crappy beat up work watch in it for display purposes, as my regular collection of watches is at another location. Should come in handy for keeping track of trigger time.

Merry Christmas to all!

It was warm in South Western Ontario during x-mas, only one squirrel that day.

You could cut the tung with mineral oil or maybe kerosene, but really not necessary. I would just stain it, if wanted and apply the tung oil, rather than the linseed oil.
