 oops...
i left the under-lever disengaged from the clasp for far too long (as for the plastic clasp NOT take a set)...

.. when all it did was return to some tighter set and be way too snug/narrow for the lever handle to fit upon a (forceful) attempt to latch it...

it broke. :hsmash i broke it.

what's the fix?
magnets?

i can hold the lever in place as i shoot so it doesn't drop and dangle upon firing.

I remember seeing some posts here recently about similar issues, may have been a different underlever. Someone (maybe Daryl) suggested neodymium magnets. A saw a stack of them on sale at PA recently. Not a lot of help I know, but try searching or wait till the usual suspects show up with a solution. :drinkers:

The Snow Peak Airgun B3-4 seems to be the WF-600. Each B3 version seems to get a bit nicer.

The older metal B3 lever clip doesn't seem to be available in Canada. Archer Airguns in the USA has them but won't ship here.

I'll probably try the magnets when my plastic clip breaks. Please post some pics of what you end up using. The usual suspects like to know.

yes, B3-4. a version that only seems a bit nicer.

8)

* the -4 version does have the 'full length' lever. yay!
* my -4 had the latch on the muzzle, rather than the barrel ala -3 nay!
* the -4 has not a front 'open' sight, nor a hooded sight, but one with high 'ears' that i so want to cut down to allow more light on the weak fiber(?)-optic. nay!

i've got a magnet setup mocked up (a dab of black Tremclad?)
so i'll go to Princess when i get up
to see what more they might have up
..so i'm keeping all my hopes up.

tada.

i took some of ALL advice that was offered. thx!

*two-part epoxy'd one neodymium magnet to the under lever.
*just sat the other magnet on the first
*slipped some heat shrink over the set. (left a hair above the magnet so that, when heated, it folded over the rim of the magnet affording a 'cushion' to damper the clang of metal on metal)
*i'm pleased

the snap n hold is super fine now.

the snap brings it up to the magnet and the magnet holds it sure thru the shot cycle.

Well done! A definite improvement over the OEM clasp in both esthetics and functionality.
