Just curious how a red dot or laser sight would stand up on a springer? Maybe the same as a non air gun rated scope?

Well, one way of looking at it. Just buy a cheap30 dollar one .You anit out nutin if it don'twork out. I and 5 of my grandsons have been useing them on 303's for about four years now. Thosr things kick a lot more than a springer would.

I had a red dot set up on my Crosman F11 and it worked great, granted I wasn’t using this for field target but mostly plinking and pesting within 25 yards

I've got a Vortex Crossfire I use on my FWB124D. No issues yet. I also have the Vortex lifetime warranty to fall back on.

I have a red dot on my Walther Parrus and it works great. I thought it would get beaten up being on a magnum springer but so far so good.
