Hello everyone I’m a bow hunter and flyfisherman from Sask and so nice to find this forum. Just started getting into air gun shooting and bought a used Dianna model 34 it’s in mint condition with an older weaver scope 4x32 in low mounts. The rifle is a .177 and is the pal rated one so should push an 8.4 grain pill at between 700 and 900 fps. Paid $250:00 for the dianna cant wait to start learning and shooting this air rifle. I have been a big game hunter and fisherman all my life. :)

Presumably you won't use that 0.177 for big game hunting. If so, you must be a fantastic shot.

So, looking forward to hearing how fly fishing goes with that 0.177. :)

Thanks everyone nope the .177 will be just to head shoot the odd crow magpie etc i have 2 22 rims and a 22 mag with bull barrel to take care of the other small pesky critters lol.Will use the dianna for plinking target shooting etc . :-D

With specific pellet model and weight, if your Diana shoots from 700fps to 900fps, you must need a very serious fine tune on it... :)

with 8.4g pellet it should be shooting at maybe 895fps to 905fps something, not 700fps to 900fps~ ;) 8)
