 Post subject: 1740 Stubby thoughts?

First real build it's a 1740 with a steel breech, walnut grips, 5.75in barrel, clipped hammer spring and 1377 transfer port. I know you've gotta tread carefully with the 1740's here as it's easy to go over especially with the stock 10in 1377 barrel. all my other airguns shoot .177 and I had parts laying around from a busted up American classic that I found in a junk yard and figured this would be a fun little project. Was wondering if anyone else has done something similar?
