Is for sale on Gunnutz. Very hard to find, Bakil doesn't import them any more. Closest yiu'll ever get to a 10 Meter Olympic pistol without spending thousands, and no it isn't mine !

LOL... I almost choke when I see the new price. I paid $200Cdn for a used IZH-46 back in the late 90s. A new TAU-7 was $325Cdn so I bought one of those too.

I think I paid 400$ something (or $450? ! Must less than $500 pretty sure...) for mine about 4 years ago...

This new price for a new one is a good match to the one from Air Venturi....

I bought my 46 in 2004. Receipt shows 311(USD) got me the pistol, scope mount and shipping to my address in Nova Scotia from Straight shooters when they were still in Minnesota

In my book , air guns as a resale item are only good when someone else has them for sale. If I was trying to sell something I might as well give it away. No one in there right mind would pay what I did right? Ain't this the way.

I certainly do not see it that way. A gun bought 20 years ago at $300, if it is a good gun in good shape, is worth quite a bit more in the dollars we have now after so many years of inflation. That is just considering inflation, not the rarity of the gun in good shape. FWB 300 rifles in rough shape are going for $600 plus; one in perfect condition will be double that or more.

Are you going to make a profit buying and selling if you are not in a full time business? Not in my experience, but good care of the guns you have can allow you to sell at reasonable rates and cut your losses somewhat. Patience is needed, as there is usually someone looking for what you are selling and appreciates the value of it.

The TX is still being made. Price is still being set by the manufacturer. There has been a noticeable increase though.

Not sure I understand your logic. In the last 20 years or so, the IZY and the TAU 7 have doubled and the FWB 300 has almost doubled. The TX200 has doubled as well. The real old ones in great shape may be 5X compared to when they sold new. The Crosman MK1 pistol has gone up like crazy since it was first produced.
