Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this slug press. Even just dealing with this company that makes it .
Thanks!

Did you mean to post a photo or link?

I'm very interested in hearing more.

Looking for anyone who has bought or played with this press. Would like to hear from someone with real world experience with it.

There are several companies who make slug/bullet making presses. Which one are you talking about.
I do have some experience with Corbin presses (VERY expensive) which many use commercially
making small calibre bullets for BR and varmint shooting.

Ahh- this one?

Nope - first I've heard of it. Looks to be quite adjustable and includes a die
and appears to supply a core mould as well.

For making air gun slugs from soft lead, as long as you could get die made in the calibre you want (7/8" x14tpi), any
compound lever reloading press will do the work needed. Hornady, Lee, RCBS- all most compound lever presses
for loading CF ammo.

Years ago, I had dies made by Pacific for swaging .357" bullets on my RCBS Rockchucker press. I don't think that particular company is in operation now
but Google might be able to find a die maker in the states who makes dies in the calibre needed to fit normal reloading presses.

I just saw this in the notes below: "The kit is $2250.00 CRAZY. HOW MANY PELLETS CAN YOU BUY FOR $2250 "

Probably the price is the reason you can't find any owners.

I was contemplating purchasing the Presslug at one point, but not being able to find a single person that owns it was discouraging.

I believe if you were thinking of spending that kind of money, then go USA and get a system that will do all calibres you want as well as capable of making jacketed bullets for all different calibres.

Thanks for the responses guys! 8)
The wife and I are really getting the pcp bug ,and she’s onboard with making our own slugs. She already wants to go with a .30 cal setup on her Crown MKII.(.22 cal at the moment). Will be looking into getting something big bore in the spring (most likely in-line to the FX Impact) for myself. spending $1200.00 to be able to experiment making our own slugs is doable. I have a few hundred pounds of pure lead in the garage to play with :D . Have to read more on the Corbin site.

Casting slugs is a wee bit less expensive.
NOE makes many bullet moulds for air rifles, thanks to Bob Sterne, member here.
No moulds in .177, only .172" for CF rifles.
