For something to do this past weekend I took the .25 breech and barrel from my Wes Bandit and fitted it to my Chaser. It works not too badly with CO2, 25gr pellet is 375fps (8ftlbs)with the pistol barrel and 425fps (10ftlbs) with the 16" carbine barrel. I used the Bandit hammer spring and transfer port but other than that I didn't change any of the internal CO2 parts. I'd love to find a .30 cal conversion to try.

Nice! .25 pistols are fun.
If you're looking to maximize your fun with a short barrel you'll likely need bigger ports. Not sure if that's your goal...
For my .25 Cr mk1 builds, I open the ports to .20" and the valve throat .22" (approximately) this paired with 8" of barrel gives me about 430-440fps with 25 gr pellets. A .18" port and corresponding throat size puts the gun at a mild tune with better shot count. Around 390-400fps.

I'm not familiar with the chaser but I assume it's pretty standard issue.

I have been thinking of trying a .30 cal build as well... Just need to find a barrel.

Interesting. My chaser with 8.25 chopped barrel does 9.4 ft lbs 21Gr h&N HP slugs 440ish. Hits way harder than I expected.
