Today we said goodbye to our baby girl, Molly (2011-2022). Our hearts are broken. She filled our lives with so much joy. She was our helper girl.

I have had sporting dogs all my life, but this was the first (and so far the only) one I have hunted with....

Molly's first Grouse of more than a hundred.... Miss you, girl....

I am so sorry to hear that Bob.
What an amazing video!
Molly reminded me of several of our dogs over the years. We have had a couple that loved bringing in the groceries and taking out the garbage. They also know that shoes must be delivered in pairs.....
We lost our Rosie this past summer, she could have been Molly's black cousin.
This video brought back great memories to me of some beloved friends. I know that it is very hard right now to think happy thoughts, but that video clearly showed a dog that was loved and who loved you right back.
Best wishes
Rob

Sorry your loss, Bob.

I hope you can focus on all the joy you shared together over the years more than the sense of loss. We miss them when they are gone but are richer from the time we spent together.

So sorry for your lost Bob - focus on the memories they will help - I know. I received my first lab pup when I was 15, had my hunting license @16 & my first shotgun @17.

Whiskers & I were inseparable and she was and still is the best friend I ever had. While our big joy was duck hunting on Lake Erie, my dad loved his pheasant hunting and always had a shorthair pointer for these endeavors. I particularly remember hunting pheasants in a stuble field one day with dad & his pointer when she froze on a point and Whiskers immediately honored it with a point of her own. Dad laughed saying look at that silly retriever of yours - she thinks she's a pointer - LOL. She always remained the best retriever I ever saw particularly in big waves on Lake Erie.

Memories for a lifetime - PRICELESS.

Bill

Sorry Bob, she looked like a beautiful dog.
I know exactly how you feel, January 11 marks a year that my beautiful gps is gone.

I’m sure you’re like me that a day doesn’t go by without thinking about how lonely it is without them.

I’m sure she’s in doggie heaven and I’m sure you guys loved her so much.

God bless.

So sorry to hear of Molly's fate Bob. May she rest in peace . No words expressed can heal or take away the pain at this moment. After viewing the video, Molly was a keeper and an exceptional friend. Do savor and cherish all the moments. She's gone , but will never be forgotten. Stay strong Bob!
