I was shooting absolutely nasty old IZH53 (spring) with additional 500 gramm swinging weight attached to exercise deltoids. The target is according 6 meter distance. Ignore my humble assesment ))

The first target appears to have been scored properly.
I see 1 nine on the second target.
Due to the nasty tear, it is difficult to see if there are 2 nines and a couple 8's, making 7 or 8 shots total.
Targets are easier to score if they have a backing like cardboard, or using "real" short fiber targets instead
of photocopy paper.

Interesting misprint on the top of the target (left side of the picture) where the scoring rings go: 3,4,4,6....

Left target looks right.
Right target to me from left to right looks like: 6, 8, 7, big hole,8.
I am guessing that the big hole is a 9.

I find that when my backing cardboard gets a few holes in it, I start to get a lot of tear out.

Daryl and Rob27, thanks a lot for helping me. Many years ago I tried to shoot IZH53 and got maximum 75/100 and when I took .22 Margolin pistol I got immediately over 85/100. It looks like that yesterday I got 79/100 with the same old Izh53 that is pretty good for this pistol. As far as I know the best result with STOCK 53 was 153/200. Yes, you absolutely right, I ought to have better paper for the targets

For general practice it's ok not to use new paper, just keep shooting through the same big hole in the middle. Or as you've been doing, copy paper. Save the good stuff when you want to score. Nice scoring on the first 5.

There is no need to purcase special target paper. It depends on air-pistol pellet velocity. Old gun can do not more tahn 100 m/sec. The new MP657 makes about 130-140 m/sec. As a resul I have good holes on the same paper.

At home I use Gehmann box, so the target fit right in.

Very nice box, but what if one is not able to hit the target at all? )))
In my appartment I prefer to use big wooden piece probably 1 meter per 1 meter , not to have discussions with my wife )))

I'm certain many of us myself included have shot outside our target boxes where it seems impossible. I mean like really.. how did that happen.
