The Major ConThe major con
which is not surprising is that the rear bottle is rated for 200 bar ( clearly marked PW 200 ) yet the gun has a 250 bar max fill. I have a Kral gun where the rear bottle was not rated to the fill pressure, in that case I replaced the rear bottle, it was 61 mm Ø easy to find. The rear bottle on the Tormenta is 50 mm Ø which will make it a lot harder to find, if they are even available in 250 or 300 bar.
A new bottle, $45. 300 bar 61 mm Ø in aluminum or $150 for fiber, bottle extension with a fill port $30. rubber but pad $25. I will not waist any time contacting CSS as in the past I have been told the bottles are not properly engraved, and that they are high pressure rated,
which I don not believe .

For now I will run at 200 bar max.
Minor Cons 1: The picitinny rail that was supplied with the gun only has a single mounting bolt. This seems to be a just a cheap generic rail. They could have supplied a long one with a backside dimple so the strap stud could have indexed in it, this would stop the pic rail from rotating sideways on the forearm. There is no way of getting it tight enough to stop it from rotating without a second anchor point. A custom printed pic rail that could be sanded to match the contours would be great.

2: The front scope pic rail is incredibly short it only has one slot. When mounting a pic scope ring in front of the mag slot, you have no adjustment
3: The barrel is only 14 inches long, both a pro and a con.
4: The trigger guard is very thick and tapered making it hard to get a trigger lock on, its only on a couple of clicks.
5: It has a fill probe. More O rings to leak, and one more probe to remember to take.
Pros1: The gun is very light at 6.4 pounds and short, the main reason I purchased, it is very easy to maneuver. The pistol grip is well suited for my big paws. Once I adapt a new pic rail I will be able to use a bipod extension on range days to eliminate the short gun shake. I was able to see the shake when aiming, I keep forgetting to hit the record button.
2: The Crosman Piranha pellets at 10.6 gr are as accurate as the JSB heavies at 10.3 gr. I was impressed with accuracy even with the short barrel, the 10.6 and 10.3 grouped 14 mm at 25 m over multiple rounds of 5 shots. The Crosman destroyer pellets we're a close third. Though the three pellets are all close in price the Piranha pellets can be purchased locally, 4 stores, and no shipping, I used two different Gamo pellets and both grouped very poorly larger than 30 mm at 25 m.
3: By using the power adjuster one can reduce the velocity from a Max of 1093 FPS to a minimum of 527 FPS. with a 7 grain pellet.
4: The butt pad on the stock can move up and down and extend. The complete stock assembly can be loosened on the bottle with a single set screw and move backwards, for somebody with a long reach.
5: When fired in the shop max sound was 73.5 dba. and with the power adjust to min it was 71 dba. I don't think shop testing for noise is that accurate as pellet impact may be included in the results, only 5 m from muzzle to target.
6: The safety is a cross stud strategically located just above the trigger in the stock, It is easy to disengage with your index finger.
If one of the suppliers brings in an Avengers in .177 in the next month I will be disappointed, but I am trying to cut back on China made products, it is very hard.
