A few of my first airguns were purchased from Mr. Marvin and I've seen him at gun shows here and there. He was very pleasant to deal with and provided airgunners with a good selection of unique airguns. Rest in Peace sir. You will be missed.

This news is very hard to hear, but thank you, Ace.

Like others here, I have many Mr. Marvin stories:

I was having an online banking issue and Marvin waited patiently until 2:00 AM, for me to resolve the problem. He had a show to attend that was starting at 6:00 AM.

I had a Crosman UZI that I thought was rare and brought it to sell to Marvin, at a show. He already had 2 others, but bought mine. Just to make me :D

He always had the time for a story and a laugh. The show displays were outstanding, he had everything.

I listed a Daisy 1971 rifle and pistol for sale on this forum and I believed that they were very rare. Mr. Marvin then posted the same guns for sale.

Not so rare, when you are Mr. Marvin. 8)

You will be missed,

gunsnrows

Very sad news indeed.
I had known Marvin for over 40 years, and had many dealings with him over those years.
His tables were a regular gathering place for all the air-gunners that attended the local gun shows
RIP Marvin.

As everybody said that a very sad news.

I bought several airguns from him as he was a good source of exotic or rare airguns.

My oldest air rifle came from him, it is a Diana model M30 military made in 1940. I still have it and it is working.

I also bought a Crosman 622 in excellent condition as well as a Crosman 451.

The Crosman 451 was a leaker but it gave me the opportunity to explore its inner working in depth. I posted a series on the making of a hammer for it and also on resealing it.

I have good memories of my dealing with him.

RIP Mr. Marvin.
