I prefer store-bought scope caps/covers, but I've seen guys (in the distant past) make them out of automobile inner tubes. Not a lot of those around these days.

Thanks, I do have plastic scope bikini covers for my air rifles! They all came with one.
Covering the muzzles is still a good idea, I think when the doors are on it wont be too dusty.

Hey are you finished with this project . Thought if you used Velcro and wood paneling or drywall you could have hidden storage. Good job !

It's still very much a work in progress. I plan to put some locking doors on it.

Got the air pistol panel mocked up.
Peg board is just temp there, need to cut it down yet and fit it into the 3rd cavity.
And a lot more felt to glue on.

It's coming along though!

Peg board works okay, the only pita is the hooks fall out real easy when installing and removing items...Other than that, it looks great.

I prefer Slatwall for looks and function.

Small zip tie around the peg board hook keeps hook from falling out.

Thanks, you are right.

I got the peg board up and it looks cool but the hooks are really sketchy and awkward.

I need to re-design it with shelves or something.

The hooks actually came with a small plastic thing each to lock them in.

Pegboard isn't working for airguns, so it's going in the garage I guess lol.

Pegboard is okay~ the problem is on the hooks... You need to find the prefect size and functional hooks for guns...

I have been using these two boards for some years... Guns on them changed a lot tho...

However it's not for 'storage'. I hang the guns that I am currently using on them and store the others in hard cases. Image

Thanks~ That's an old picture I took at 2018 October... I think it's the time I bought that two pieces of stainless steel peg boards from the States... Lots of changes since that~

The guns on it we're the 953(yes, you are right~ But it's been sold).
CP99 Compact (sold)
1322 (sold) and 2240
X-Five 226
CP99 Nighthawk and one 1911
And the last one MP5,which is my first airgun I bought here in Canada

Took another picture this morning.... Only the NightHawk is still here~[emoji38]

That is really nice! Your rifles look good.

I have the X-Five Sig too that was my first airgun.

MP5 is a beauty. And the Crosmans are great
