 Post subject: Picture Sizing

I checked the picture size of the Webley Rifle for sale, by uploading it to my desktop, then clicking on Properties.
2.16meg. was the size given.
How does that happen, when my pictures all have to be sized well under 900kb.
I have noticed this oversize picture posting mostly on the for sale forum.
What gives?

Which is a little odd, considering Imgur has one of the better on-line re-sizing tools.
It's in the edit tab, for those who don't know.

I find going with a 530 height seems to work well on most boards like this.
