You know, I wasn't thinking right about it when I wrote that.
In 9mm I got 10 shots starting at 2100psi and ending around 800psi.

The 4 shots in .50 started at 2100psi and ended at 1500psi.

I'm guessing the valve isn't producing enough dwell to keep up with the larger volume...
I guess it doesn't really matter. It's just fun learning stuff :lol:

That's an interesting prospect - smooth .50.
I just remembered that I have a 4140, .44 mag. barrel liner - of Green Mountain make. It is 13 3/8" long, .625" diameter.
Groove diameter is .430". Should do something with that, maybe? I don't know what the rot is, but likely 16" to 20".
