Does anyone know if the Weihrauch universal muzzle break that comes with the two shims will fit a Diana 280?

According to Weirauch website, the universal muzzle break fits 15 to 16 mm dia barrels.

What is the OD of your Diana 280 barrel? According to Sniper Dan who imported these into Canada, the 280 is between the 24 & 34 in some way, and the compression tube is the same as the 34, so I would guess the barrel would be 16mm same as the 34. In that case the Weirauch Universal Brake should fit your Diana 280. But measure and be sure.
Air Venturi also has a universal brake, maybe save you some $

I'm getting .59" so 15mm, it should fit.
Thanks for the link, I did find that one as well, but they are out of stock atm.

I bought and put this Apex muzzle brake from ARH (famous with their Maccari tune kit and spring set) on my HW30 and 35...

It's for 16mm barrel, fits well on my two HW rifles. However a little bit adjustment needed for the 35 which is 22 cal as very tight clearance to avoid pellet chipping when going through the hole on the muzzle brake... ImageImageImage

I think two or three rounds/layers of electric tape at the front, middle and rear?! Don't remember clearly...

Yes , since the electrical tape is almost non compressable it works perfect. Where would we be if we lost tape from our sosciety?Espeacially duct tape.

[emoji38] the electric tape actually can be extended easily... So you might want to hold tight when wrapping it on the barrel end and maybe one more round if it became too thin... But after that, it fills up the extra clearance very well ~
