You did a fine job on it.
Thanks Daryl, I felt like buying a drill press for doing this job, but I was over-ruled.

So, I must accept the result. See the wood plugs that came off the hole saw tips.Image

With some modicum of skill, it is surprising what can be accomplished. I made a primer firing device for my cap lock rifle when I could not buy percussion caps in
Smithers, back in the 70's. I used an adjustable 3/8" electric drill held in the jaws of my bench vice - as a lathe, using files to turn down rods of steel for the 3-piece
device. Primer holder, threaded to fit the 1/4x28 nipple thread. Cap that screwed onto the top of the primer holder that holds the captured striker (firing pin). Saw a
picture of one someone made back in the late 1870's for use in machine rest competitions. Knew the concept so I made one. However, what you guys doe with air rifles,
Bsteren included escape my understanding.

Received 22mm aluminum tube, cut it to length and glue onto the stocks of my Outlaw and M16. Now the reg gauges looked like factory installed.ImageImage
