if you looking at the closes you can get as a replica, this one https://canadashootingsupply.ca/product ... lack-open/
Yeah! The 654K is said use the same material and got out from the same production line which and where they make the real steel ~

And some ppl did buy a 4.5mm BB 654K and used it to make the 9mm (?! Is they use this caliber?) version ~ :)

However, the price just too much for my budget and I have no idea why I don't really like how it looks....

I would describe the blowback on the replica as dull, lazy, and weak. It would have to be considering the weaker recoil spring. Maybe there are products that have better representation but I would think that would come at a cost of shots per co2 capsule.

[emoji38] that's so true~ when you stripe the pistol , you will see the ballpen spring which providing you the blow back feature ~ and why ppl ' impressed ' by the DE is because of the original design and it's size, they doubled that ballpen spring to 2 springs~

Due to the weak spring, pot metal and the fragile small parts.... I actually use my collections very less... Because each time it snaps, you stripes, or the mag drops out.... You are consuming its life... So I just collect, test function and do regular maintains.... That's why I didn't see my BBs inventory going down for years already ~ :) in the other hand, sometimes I got 'free' BBs or CO2 when buying from some nice gentlemen, the inventory increased....

A nice pellet gun is a different story... Buying a new one, sometimes you need hundreds of shots to warm it up... And thousands of shots to make it a dream shooter... ;) so I almost all buy used and from those 'handy' (professional) gentlemen that already ran it in or finely tuned it...

Strongest blowback always comes from my full metal 1911's.

I just ordered a Gen4 G17 which has the full length blowback, so I'll have to see how that compares to the partial blowback of my Gen3.

Got the nice Tanfoglio Gold Custom recently, and it's full metal and has lovely blow back as the 1911s too! :)Image

I also done the Raccoon City zombie killer mod kit for the DE too... Longer barrel gives it new muzzle speed to close to 400fps. Now it became a super heavy power and blow back monster 'pistol' ~ :)ImageImage

I find the blowback strength on my similar KWC Tac 75 to be low-moderate. Similar to my 92FS because they both have narrow and thin metal slides compared to the 1911s.
