Does anybody own one? Seems pricey but from what I can tell, it is really well made. I'm a big fan of 1911 and this one looks almost like a real thing.

i have wllm995's (RIP)

it's a nice hefty full(er) sized 1911.
it feels really good to fond.. hold in the hand.

i say fuller sized as it is some small % bigger than the real(er) steel version and thus doesn't fit holsters made for a 1911, like the KWC BB ones do.

my only reel peeve is with
the
backstrap
safety.

it's clicky/chunky/notchy and many reviewers will say so.

the whole grip is a good size and i thought my hands were the issue, being smaller than most, (yet being the only smaller part of me- i'm just saying) as i need to pick this up and very deliberately place my hands in a certain way on the grip to lessen the effect. at times the safety won't release so i have to reposition my hand/lever? to get it to work.

NOT a deal breaker though.
it's a quirk.

it does have the 1911 thumb safety so one fix is to disengage the back strap safety internally.

i have a small velcro strap that i use for mine for the times the quirk interferes with my fun.
..and then it's more fun to shoot because it is a nice pistol to spend time with.
______________
get a grip

Very cool. But the slide is fixed, right? Is double action trigger heavy?

I was thinking the Colt Government 1911 only has that silver color special version.... I almost buy one before as I am a 1911 fans too!

Not a very big fan tho as I only have two 1911s so far... If counting the HW45 in, I have 3 then.... (The HW45 can use the true 1911 grips... So I counted it in~ :) )Image

the 'slide' release lever allows the front of the 'slide' to move forward for the magazine to be placed in breech area.
some of the UMX Rotary 8s (i have 6) allow the rear of the slide to be pulled back for SA mode, some are only DA.
cocking the hammer on the 1911 allows for SA shooting. v light. DA is better than most 'retail' DA airguns.

Got it~ [emoji38] I should know it's one of the UX 'revolvers'~

Looks this one is not that often you could see as it's an earlier model or not as popular as the CP88 or the M92FS?
