Made a mistake and posted this originally in the general air gun forum, reposting here for more answers tbh.

So I have a Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec.
And I want to get this m1911 extended 27 round magazine for it, but unfortunately I'm not so sure on cross compatibility even though the magazines look almost identical. Mind you this IS for the steel bb version, not the airsoft one.
Does anyone know or do I have to chance it to figure it out?
Here is the link:

Did you try asking the website? As I know the store owner have nice reputation in customer services here among us too~

I don't have the springfield 1911, but I have another two 1911 which are different look and different brand names but believe made by KWC too... I can try to see if their mag are exchangeable later tonight...

The mags of my 2 1911s are exchangeable...

However I didn't buy any extra mag for any of my replicas, I am not sure that one fits 100%... Just for your reference....

I would say it's definitely compatible. It shows a photo of the 27 round mag in a Tag Witness which takes standard 1911 mags.
All my 1911s mags are interchangable...Umarex, Springfield, Sig Sauer, Swiss Arms, KWC...

my SA/KWC 1911 has that darkish, brassy, grey?/bronzey? finish and i thought the mag was similar but, in the clear light of day, it's black.
(gun now shown w Hogue rubber grips)

ps, KWC... a black spring (or lower cover) would have been nice(r).
