I've been getting way more spam and phishing in recent weeks, by all means imaginable- phone texts, calls, and the latest is MMS messages. Since I don't have a data plan, I only get a message saying "failed to download attachment", but it's phishing no doubt. Anyhow, just got the e-mail below - at first glance it looks legit, but take the time to find the the issues you can soon see its pure phishing. Be careful folks, and never click anything unless you have personally logged into a website or initiated the call/text yourself (even then be careful).

On a related note, my wife was ordering something online a few days ago and I got a text on my phone (her cc but my account) saying there was a problem, respond Y if it was legit or N if attempted fraud. I never clicked anything and the CC company locked my cc! I told them this was asking for people to get phished, and they just said "always call yourself" if you get such a message. I tried to get the CC agent to appreciate that the message should say "please call the number on the back of your card", rather than get ppl used to the practice of texting Y or N (a way for the phishers to get access to your phone etc).

Improper or poor grammar & nonsensical sentences are a dead giveaway.
Lately, I get a C.O.S.T.C.O. request for me to fill out a questionnaire. The
e-mail address sending this to me is a g-mail address.
